4 Utah Hot Spring Vacation Destinations
The history of Utah’s Hot Springs dates back to the late 1800’s when Beck Hot Springs was used by the Mormon pioneers soon after they arrived in the Salt Lake Valley. In Utah’s hot spring heyday, resorts begun to spring up all along the Wasatch front. Altogether there were 8 hot spring resorts providing visitors to Salt Lake City a place to bathe, relax, and enjoy what many believed were healing powers provided by the hot water flowing from the springs.
Today, Utah is not known for its natural hot springs and most of these resorts are closed. However, a few of these resorts managed to hang on and they are a great place to visit and enjoy a soak, whether you believe the water has healing powers or not.
