Adelaide Campground is located in Corn Creek Canyon on the south end of the Pahvant Mountain Range near Kanosh, Utah. The campground offers one accessible group site that can accommodate up to 48 guests and 15 vehicles. Additional single-family sites are available on a first come, first served basis. Flush and vault toilets are provided, as is drinking water. A large amphitheater and picnic shelter are located on-site. Roads and parking spurs are gravel.
Anderson Meadow Campground is nestled above Anderson Meadow Reservoir in the Fishlake National Forest. The area boasts spectacular high mountain scenery and excellent fishing. The Anderson Meadow Campground has eight single family campsites and two multiple family campsites. Sites are back-in only and will accommodate 24 to 40 feet long trailers. All units have prep tables, campfire rings and picnic tables. Drinking water is available throughout the campground. There are two vault toilets in the campground. Camping limit is 14 days. No hook-ups or dump station are available. The nearest dump station is located in Beaver, Utah.
Aquarius Ranger Station is located about 15 miles south of Loa, in eastern Utah. It sits on the west side of beautiful Boulder Mountain, which makes up half of the expansive Aquarius Plateau. The Aquarius Ranger Station Complex can accommodate a maximum of 20 people, with four inside and 16 camped outside in tents or RVs. The rustic two-room cabin sleeps four people comfortably on one double bed and one set of bunk beds. No linens or bedding are provided. Two or three RVs and several tents are allowed outside. The cabin is equipped with a table and chairs, a wood stove and propane appliances including a cook stove and oven, refrigerator and hot water heater. Some pots and pans, dishes and utensils are provided, but guests are encouraged to bring their own. A vault toilet is located adjacent to the cabin, as is a campfire circle and several picnic tables. Potable water is available inside the cabin and at a hydrant outside. Solar lighting is available inside the cabin. Please note: pets are not allowed inside the Ranger Station. No smoking in the Ranger Station.
Bowery Creek Campground is located next to Fish Lake in the Fishlake National Forest of central Utah. Visitors enjoy boating, fishing and exploring local trails. The campground contains six group sites: three can accommodate up to 30 people each, the other three up to 20 people each. A group day-use picnic site for up to 100 people is located on-site. Several single-family sites are available as well. Most sites have lake views. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. Roads and parking spurs are paved. The lake is just a short walk below the site and across the road. Three resorts are located in the Fish Lake Basin, offering camping and fishing supplies, RV parks with hookups, cabin and boat rentals, marinas, gas, restaurants, groceries, laundry facilities and showers. The resorts are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Doctor Creek Campground is located next to Fish Lake in the Fishlake National Forest of central Utah. Visitors enjoy fishing, boating and exploring local trails. The campground contains two group sites that can accommodate up to 150 people each, both with shelters, tables, campfire rings and grills. Several single-family sites are available as well. Mallard Day Use site is located within the campground. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. A dump station is located at the campground entrance. Roads and parking spurs are paved. Three resorts are located in the Fish Lake Basin, offering camping and fishing supplies, RV parks with hookups, cabin and boat rentals, marinas, gas, restaurants, groceries, laundry facilities and showers. The resorts are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Elkhorn Campground is located 20 miles northeast of Loa, Utah, on the scenic Thousand Lake Mountain at an elevation of approximately 9300 feet. Visitors enjoy exploring local trails on foot, bike or off-road vehicle. The campground contains one group site that can accommodate up to 75 people, with large tables, grills, Dutch oven cooking surfaces and a fire ring with benches. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided. Roads and parking spurs are gravel. Elkhorn Ranger Station is just across a meadow from the site.
Frying Pan Campground is located on the Fishlake Scenic Byway in central Utah, just 3 miles north of Fish Lake, at an elevation of 9,000 feet. Visitors enjoy boating, fishing and exploring local trails. The campground contains one group site that can accommodate up to 100 people, with picnic tables, a campfire ring and large parking area. Several single-family sites are available as well. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. Roads and parking spurs are paved. Three resorts are located in the Fish Lake Basin, offering camping and fishing supplies, RV parks with hookups, cabin and boat rentals, marinas, gas, restaurants, groceries, laundry facilities and showers. The resorts are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Gooseberry Administrative Site Cabins are located just 18 miles from Salina, Utah. These historic structures were used as Forest Service summer headquarters from 1907 to 1960. Today, the site is used for family reunions, group events, scout and church groups and youth camps. This unique facility contains three bunk cabins, one with propane heating, a recreation hall, kitchen and bathhouse. The rec hall has a fireplace, tables and chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a large propane cooking range and oven, three small propane refrigerators, three sinks, a prep and serving area, hot water and two outdoor grills. The bathhouse has flush toilets, sinks and hot showers. Fifty single beds with mattresses are provided. Guests must bring their own linens or bedding, as well as dishes, utensils and cookware. A propane generator is available for electricity and lights for a couple of hours in the morning and evening. Several picnic tables and a campfire ring are located outside. Guests are required to keep the facility clean during their stay. Maid service is not available. A volunteer host is on-site. Check-out time is by 11 a.m. and check-in time is after 2 p.m.
The Kents Lake Campground has 28 single family campsites and two multiple family campsites. It is situated in a beautiful forested setting at an elevation of 8,800 feet. The campground is located adjacent to Kents Lake, which is approximately 50 acres in size and suitable for small fishing boats and canoes. Kents Lake is stocked with a variety of trout, all catchable from shore or boat. The Kents Lake Campground has 28 single family campsites and 2 multiple family campsites. Sites vary from back-in to pull-through sites and will accommodate trailers from 24 to 60 feet long. All units have grills and/or fire rings and picnic tables. Drinking water is available throughout the campground. There are two vault toilets in the campground. There are no hook ups available. The nearest dump station is located in Beaver.
LeBaron Campground is located in the Fishlake National Forest at an elevation of 9,900 feet. This beautiful high mountain retreat in Utah offers excellent fishing in LeBaron Lake and outstanding scenery. The campground has 11 single units and one group unit. All sites are back-in and will accommodate trailers from 12 to 45 feet long. Each campsite has a table and campfire ring. One vault toilet serves the campground. Drinking water is not available. There is a camping limit of 14 consecutive days. A designated ATV parking area is located to the west side of the campground to access available ATV trails. No hook-ups or dump station are available. The nearest dump station is located in Beaver, Utah.
The Little Cottonwood Campground is conveniently located off Utah's I-15, adjacent to the Beaver River just outside of the community of Beaver in the Fishlake National Forest. At 6,500 feet in elevation, this is a great place to enjoy the mountains where recreation opportunities include stream fishing, hiking, and hunting. The campground has fourteen single-family campsites, two of which are accessible units available for reservation. All campsites are paved and have picnic tables and grills. An accessible restroom with flush toilets serves the campground. Potable water is available during the summer season. RVs up to 40 feet in length can be accommodated; no hook-ups are available.
Lower Bowns Campground is located on the east side of Boulder Mountain on the shore of the Lower Bowns Reservoir at an elevation of 7,000 feet. Visitors enjoy boating, fishing and exploring local trails. This campground contains three accessible sites: one group site can accommodate up to 50 people, and two single sites can each accommodate up to 10 people. Vault toilets are provided, and roads and parking spurs throughout the site are gravel.
Mackinaw Campground is located next to Fish Lake and the Fishlake Scenic Byway in central Utah at an elevation of 9,000 feet. Visitors enjoy boating, fishing and exploring local trails. The campground contains four group sites that can accommodate up to 20 people each. Picnic tables and fire rings with grills are provided. Several single-family sites are available as well. Most sites have lake views. Flush toilets, showers and drinking water are provided. Roads and parking spurs are paved. Three resorts are located in the Fish Lake Basin, offering camping and fishing supplies, RV parks with hookups, cabin and boat rentals, marinas, gas, restaurants, groceries, laundry facilities and showers. The resorts are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Maple Grove Campground sits in Fishlake National Forest in central Utah. Visitors enjoy fishing and hiking the nearby Rock Canyon Trail. The campground offers three reservable accessible group sites with picnic tables, campfire circles, grills and water spigots. Several single sites are available on a first come, first served basis. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided.
Mahogany Cove Campground is located in a grassy meadow along the Beaver Canyon Scenic Byway just 12 miles from Beaver, Utah, at an elevation of 7,200 feet. Visitors enjoy hiking, mountain biking and fishing in the nearby Beaver River. The campground consists of one group site made up of seven individual sites that can accommodate a total of 75 people and 20 vehicles. Reservations are posted at the campground in advance. If the entire site is not reserved, the individual sites can be used on a first-come, first-served basis. The first site has several picnic tables, a large grill and campfire circle. The other six sites each contain one picnic table, fire ring and grill. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided. Roads and parking spurs are gravel. A large play field is located just inside the entrance.
